| | Headlines 'Clergy' Who Promote Procured Abortion Are Engaged in Overtly Evil Acts and Must Be Exposed and Opposed By Deacon Keith A Fournier | June 4, 2014 It is urgent that all faithful Christians be fully aware of the truth concerning what the Christian Church has ALWAYS taught about the taking of innocent human life. It is critical the Christian men and women stand up against the subterfuge of errant and apostate leaders who claim to speak with the authority of the Bible - when they have actually rejected the very truth which it affirms. The unbroken teaching of the Christian Church has been - and continues to be - that every procured abortion is the taking of an innocent human life. It is an intrinsically evil act. Pope warns couples it is a mistake to put off having children By Catholic Online (NEWS CONSORTIUM) | June 3, 2014 In a special mass at the Vatican, Pope Francis told 15 couples that they should never substitute pets for children. The Catholic Church requires all couples seeking a sacramental marriage to agree to accept children as a gift from God. If an engaged couple informs the clergyman that they will not even consider having children, he cannot proceed with the wedding ceremony. Continue Reading... How the 'climate change debate' plays into the hands of evil By Marshall Connolly, Catholic Online (NEWS CONSORTIUM) | June 3, 2014 Regardless of whether or not you believe in climate change, the politics are coming. On Monday, the Obama administration announced plans to slash power plant carbon dioxide emissions by 30 percent over 2005 figures. The cuts, officials say, will help fight climate change. Maybe Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty Should Run For President By Deacon Keith Fournier | June 4, 2014 The Patriarch of Duck Dynasty, Phil Robertson, addressed the Republican Leadership conference in New Orleans, Louisiana this past weekend. His speech received several standing ovations. It also received predictable mocking from segments of the propaganda press. In characteristic style, Phil Robertson gave them plenty of the one-liners they love to use in their effete condescension masquerading as reporting. In his down home, folksy way, without all the words people like me use, Phil Robertson speaks the truth and moves people to reach down into their hearts and clear out all of the rubbish we have accumulated. There were beautiful colors of every shade, for the eyes, lips, face. Dozens of brushes, wide and small stood nearby for application upon Kianna's 12-year-old face. A dash of violet on the brow brought drama. Shades of pink, artfully applied to her lips made them fuller and far more alluring. What Amala - and the people at the compound would do with this, Kianna thought, had far more sinister implications than she was willing to think about. Continue Reading... Will We Dedicate June to the Heart of Jesus or the LGBT Lifestyle? By Deacon Keith Fournier | June 4, 2014 In 1993, the late Democratic Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, wrote an essay entitled Defining Deviancy Down in which he wrote these words - I proffer the thesis that, over the past generation... the amount of deviant behavior in American society has increased beyond the levels the community can afford to recognize and that, accordingly, we have been re-defining deviancy so as to exempt much conduct previously stigmatized, and also quietly raising the normal level in categories where behavior is now abnormal by any earlier standard. By defining what is deviant, we are enabled to know what is not, and hence to live by shared standard. That same year Charles Krauthammer, offered a response in a Bradley Lecture entitled Defining Deviancy Up, in which he noted - Moynihan is right. But it is only half the story. There is a complimentary social phenomenon that goes with defining deviancy down. As part of the vast social project of moral leveling, it is not enough for the deviant to be normalized. The normal must be found to be deviant. Continue Reading... What Pope Francis Said about Married Men and the Catholic Priesthood on that Plane By Deacon Keith Fournier | June 1, 2014 Press reports, opinion pieces and editorials often pose the question we are considering in this way, "Should priests be allowed to marry?" That way of posing the question either reveals a complete misunderstanding of the issues and the history - or it reveals an agenda to assert some perceived kind of pressure on the Church. None of the discussions over clerical celibacy concern those already ordained and pledged to lifelong celibacy. That cannot and will not change. The only issue is whether already married men should be allowed to discern a vocation to the priesthood and, if chosen by the Church, be ordained. They can already be considered for ordination to the diaconate. If this were to happen it would NOT mean a diminution in the cherished role of clerical celibacy. Continue Reading... Kianna's will remains unbroken - as her captors turn up the pressure - Part 4 By Catholic Online (NEWS CONSORTIUM) | May 23, 2014 For the next two weeks, Kianna was largely kept in the room save for bathing time. The stern, angry woman - who she was told was Jo's "mother" who at first met her at the compound had taken on the role of her teacher. Several hours a day, she would lecture Kianna on how things were and what she needed to do to survive at the compound.
