Literacy and The Necessity of the Visual
By Deal W Hudson | January 29, 2014

In a world where our minds and hearts are, on a daily basis, being shaped and informed by images, whether stills or moving, becoming visually literate is a goal we should all pursue and should certainly provide for our children. This will mean that we learn not only to understand the "grammar" of image representation but also the skills to create those representations. In other words, we all need to learn how to make a film. The relic was given to the church in May 2011 by Cardinal Stanislaw Dzuwisz, a close personal friend of Blessed John Paul and his former personal secretary. I've always said that the first two goals of our business are (1) to run our business in harmony with God's laws, and (2) to focus on people more than money.
